Our History:
The reunion tradition originated at a backyard picnic in 1958
by a group of Union #1 High School chums: Gladyce (Wells) Henry,
Harry and Evelyn (Cline) Coit - class of 1915, Dorothy (Smith)
Hartley - class of 1920, and Freda (Farney) Gress - class of
1917. Their first official reunion took place on May 22, 1960
at the Rose Hill Grange Hall with 44 attendees. Our all school
reunion has continued to grow throughout the years as classes
graduated from Adams City High School. Although everyone is
welcome to join the Alumni Association as they leave Adams City High
School, an official invitation to our annual all school reunion is
sent to each class as they approach their 40th year
reunion.
